About Us

Funky Door Yoga opened in 2001 by Lynn Whitlow & Jeff Renfro. It quickly became known as THE YOGA HOT SPOT around the world, winning many awards, featured in numerous commercials, movies, and yoga documentaries.

The studio is a cross between a museum and a fun palace, filled with cartoons by renowned illustrator Ed Renfro.

Lynn & Jeff sold the studio in 2006 and went on to open up many other yoga studios, including Yoga Hell Petaluma, and Yoga Hell Brooklyn.

Funky Door closed at the start of the pandemic in March 2020. After being dark for 18 months, Lynn & Jeff teamed up with Ry Toast to resurrect the vibe and bring Funky Door back to all its glory.
